AWANA is a Bible-centered program that reaches children and youth with the gospel of Jesus Christ and trains them to serve Him.
The name AWANA is an acrostic for the phrase “Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed”, taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 (NIV): “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of faith”.
Club meetings will consist primarily of Bible memory work, an exciting game time, singing and a Bible message. Weekly awards can be earned through handbook achievements and game time.
Please print the Registration Form online and return it along with the registration fee to the Church Office by August 28.
We are eager to see what God is going to do this year through the AWANA Club at Orcutt Baptist Church!
