The music ministry at Orcutt Baptist Church seeks to use music as a means of enhancing worship. In our services we incorporate many styles and strive to include the entire congregation in worship whether it is on the platform or in the pews.

If you have a desire to become involved in any of the choirs listed below, you will receive a warm welcome.

The Celebration Choir provides music for our 11:00 service and sings a wide variety of music including spirituals, hymn settings, contemporary Christian music and gospel. The group participates in special services and concerts throughout the year. Practice is on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 PM.

The Orcutt Praise Band and Singers is comprised of both adult and youth and frequently help lead worship.

For children from 1^st through 5^th grade, Orcutt provides a combined Children’s Choir, Handbell Ensemble and Drama Team. Practice is on Sunday evenings at 6:30 PM.

Our services often include soloists from the congregation, guest instrumentalists, string quartets, brass ensembles and our own trio, Greater Joy.

Throughout the year we present special musical events on Sunday evenings. These have included Orcutt Talent Night, Praise Band Concerts, The Peninsula Youth Orchestra, Children and Drama Team musicals, and Greater Joy.
