March Schedule:  Easter Sunday, March 23—Regular Morning Worship Schedule, No KidStuf, No Evening Service;  Wednesday, March 26—Regular Schedule of Activities;  Sunday, March 30—No 8:30 AM Worship Service, Joint 11:00 AM Worship Service with Lottie Moon Musical Presentation, No KidStuf,  and Regular Evening Activities.

North American Missions Offering Emphasis: You may contribute to North American Missions in two ways: the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, promoted by the Southern Baptist Convention, or the Offering for Global Missions, promoted by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. Our church goal is $11,500. Both types of offering envelopes are available in the pew racks and in your boxed envelopes dated 4-6-08.

Lottie Moon Children’s Musical Presentation, Sunday, March 30, in the 11:00 AM worship service. Don’t miss this musical and drama based on the life of Lottie Moon, missionary to China, to be presented by our children. This work was written by Ruth Winters’ husband, Glenn, especially for our church. We will not have an early service next Sunday so that we can all attend this presentation together. Invite a friend!

Upcoming Senior Adult Activities:   Tuesday, April 15-Virginia House Tour, Richmond, leave OBC at 8:30 AM and return after lunch, cost $4 plus lunch, deadline for sign-up April 6;  Sunday, April 20-Senior Adult Day, special worship service followed by free luncheon, sign-up deadline April 16;  Thursday, April 24-PBA Senior Adult Spring Fling, 9:30 AM-12:00 PM at First Baptist Church, Newport News, cost $5 for coffee/donuts/brunch, sign-up deadline April 18.

New Ladies’ Bible Study Begins March 25, Tuesdays at 9:30 AM-Topic: Conversation Peace: The Power of Transformed Speech. (7 week study)

A scholarship of $650 is being offered by the University of Richmond to graduating seniors and current college students. Applications and criteria are available in the church office. Deadline for application to the OBC Scholarship Committee is no later than April 20. Applications for scholarships for all other colleges and universities may be picked up May 1, 2008.
