Senior Adult Ministry

Senior Adult Ministry is a challenging, exciting ministry that allows those 55 and over to enjoy friendships, learning, fellowship and traveling. Opportunities are given by offering programs that will enrich the lives of seniors. Fellowship activities in and through the church represent one way of connecting seniors and building friendship bonds. Travel is another venue whereby seniors can enjoy learning, fellowship and friendships. The Senior Adult Ministry is open to everyone. One does not have to be a member of Orcutt Baptist Church to join in the Senior Adult Ministry. The only requirements are love of the Lord, love of people, a desire to learn and form closer relationships.

We offer a PrimeChimers Choir (senior adult handchimes), PrimeTimers (a monthly fellowship for lunch and an appropriate topical speaker), the Jubilee Choir ( senior adult choir), a Lunch Club (visit a different restaurant the first Tuesday of each month; leave church at 11:30 p.m., return around 1 – 1:30 p.m.), Video Tape Ministry (delivery of tape from the 11:00 a.m. Sunday service).
